Our Senior Management team are responsible for the day-to-day operational and strategic management of Melin. They provide leadership for the organisation, supporting our staff and the working environment to successfully achieve our goals and objectives.
Paula Kennedy
Chief Executive
Paula has worked in social housing for over 28 years, with 16 of these based in Wales.
Appointed as Chief Executive in 2017, she brings with her a wealth of knowledge from her previous roles with Brunel Care and Herefordshire Housing.
Peter Crockett
Deputy Chief Executive and Managing Director of Candleston Homes
Peter has held senior posts in the housing association sector since 1995 where he gained considerable experience in all aspects of commercial activities including strategic finance, loan funding, development and all other support services.
Adrian Huckin
Executive Director of Corporate Services and Company Director of Y Prentis
Adrian joined Melin Homes in September 2010 having previously worked in both the public and Housing Associations sectors.
He has worked in the housing sector since 1982, with senior management roles in Newport and Torfaen Council and Bron Afon Community Housing.
Joanne Kirrane
Executive Director People, Homes and Communities
Joanne’s career spans across health, housing and social care, she has a particular interest in cross sector collaboration and has worked for Melin Homes since 2013.
Justin Wigmore
Director of Housing
Justin has worked in social housing since 1997 and has experience of working for both a Local Authority and Housing Associations.
Gerrard Williams
Director of Development
Gerrard is a Chartered Surveyor and has worked in development since 1987, and has worked in the housing sector since 2010. He was previously Development Director at Hereford Futures Ltd and before that Commercial Manager at Cardiff International Sports Village.
Tom Broadhead
Director of Business Support and Company Secretary
Tom has worked in social housing since the year 2000 in a variety of roles. He also carries out various roles with CIH Cymru, Welsh Housing Quarterly Magazine, the board of Merthyr Tydfil Housing Association and Tyfu Tai Cymru.
Elizabeth Howard
Director of Finance
Elizabeth has worked in social housing since 2005, after starting her finance career at an IT consultancy in Cardiff.
Lyndon Griffiths
Group Land Director
Lyndon is an experienced development/land surveyor that has worked in the social housing sector for over 25 years. His current role as Land Director at Candleston and Melin Homes includes facilitating acquisition of land and coordination of all new development opportunities for the group.
Scott Rooks
Commercial Director of Candleston
Scott is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and has worked in the construction industry since 2002, having started his career with a construction consultancy in the north of England, he moved to Wales in 2007 and joined Candleston in 2018.
