We won!
We won The South Wales Argus - Best Place to Work Award. Of course we already knew this, but the recognition from The Argus was the cherry on the cake. Well done to all the other winners and finalists on the night, it was a great evening.

Of course we already knew this, but the recognition from The Argus was the cherry on the cake. Well done to all the other winners and finalists on the night, it was a great evening.
We know our staff love working at Melin! We are fully committed to supporting our staff, we invest in our people and create a vibrant culture. We are incredibly proud to currently be number 11 on the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Not-For-Profit Organisations To Work For and use this process to help us to improve year on year and make Melin a better place to work.
We live by our strong values and ensure that our staff are valued and listened to. We have a whole host of staff working groups and exciting corporate events to ensure that everyone is able to contribute to making Melin a fantastic place to work.
Here’s what our staff say:
“Melin has a real family ethos and I am proud to play my part in making it the successful organisation it has become.”
“Melin has a great culture, great people and a vision to make a real difference to the lives of the residents and communities we serve.”
We are incredibly passionate about looking after our staff’s physical and mental wellbeing and for the last eight years, we have run an initiative called Zest. Zest provides a range of activities and support such as a staff choir, massages, fruit, healthy breakfasts & lunches, weight loss support, language lessons, self-referral counselling and more. We adopt an inclusive approach for all staff and hold a number of large corporate events including a staff BBQ and a wholescale wellbeing extravaganza, Zest Fest.
