Our schools programme

FACE is a unique schools programme for primary and secondary schools; linking with the curriculum and tailored to bring out the best in young people. FACE focuses on how we can benefit young people’s lives when it comes to their career opportunities and the mindset needed to go out and achieve those goals. We have programs for both primary and secondary schools.

About FACE

Future: All about housing, getting started with living on your own, and finance!
Active: Keeping active physically, mentally, and emotionally, with a big focus on wellbeing.
Career: Opportunities within housing and wider sectors, making yourself employable!
Environment: Making the world a better place and caring for the world.

How FACE works

FACE is a free programme available to all schools in our Local Authority areas:

• Torfaen
• Monmouthshire
• Newport
• Blaenau Gwent
• South Powys

The programme is funded through contractors we work with, they pay money into our Sustainable Communities Fund when they work with us which enables us to deliver projects like this to the communities we serve.

Supporting teachers

We recognise how important teachers are and what a fantastic job they do supporting young people. FACE may be able to support teachers with our wellbeing initiative, Zest. We may be able to help support the school team with healthy treats, relaxation workshops, exercise classes and more.
